Heart at Work's mission is to bring fitness and health to the senior population! Fitness and health should be our main priorities, however instead of exercising regularly it is easy to postpone our running or gym appointments to another day. We want to encourage and educate our clients to create and maintain healthy routines, including visiting us on a regular basis.

Maintain a healthy lifestyle through physical activity in order to help prevent disease.

 AARP strongly encourages all active adults to engage in physical activity for at least 30 minutes everyday. In fact, new research shows that exercise can help prevent Alzheimer's, protect against stroke, increase life expectancy and even change our DNA so our muscles work more efficiently.

 

Due to the specialty of our facility, we offer blood pressure and heart rate readings before and after exercise. This is an excellent and reliable way to begin tracking the changes you are making to your health and quality of life. Overtime, you and your doctor can see the work you have put in, and have a consistant record of your vitals to refrence if needed.
